I’m a foodie and I’ve got the best lazy girl meal using frozen chicken nuggets

WHEN most people think of chicken nuggets they imagine them on a plate with oven chips and peas and a taste that takes them back to their childhood.

But in the cost of living crisis we’re all looking for ways to make food stretch further and there is no easier way to store food then in the freezer.

But how do we elevate chicken nuggets from that simple childhood meal… well one foodie has come up with the best recipe for spicing up frozen chicken nuggets.

Rene shared her recipe in a TikTok video online.

She said: "Frozen chicken nuggets to the rescue."

First she heats up some diced garlic and spring onions in a wok with hot oil.

The foodie then adds a teaspoon of gochujang paste and a teaspoon of honey.

Then the sauce also has a squirt of ketchup, gochugaru and soy sauce.

Add some smoked paprika and chilli powder if you like a little bit of heat.

Drop your frozen chicken nuggets in and fry till they are fully cooked and coated.

Top your nuggets with more spring onions and serve with rice, avocado and salad.

Rene even adds a sprinkle of siracha sauce on top.

Although you could serve these with any carbs and veg of your choice

Rene says this is ‘the best way to use chicken nuggets'.

Her frozen chicken nugget recipe went viral with over 2.5 million views.
